But what is unauthentic branding exactly?
Unauthentic branding is branding that doesn’t align with your business. It doesn’t accurately represent what your business is, does, provides, and stands for- and therefore doesn’t attract the right people(aka your ideal clients/target market).
An anxiety coach who’s ideal client is someone who wants to learn to control their anxiety and bring inner peace into their life isn’t going to have a very vibrant, busy, high-energy brand. They would have a calm, soft, and friendly brand, because that’s what their ideal client is looking for.
So when a business has branding that’s unauthentic, all that means is that their image, vibe, brand personality, color palette, etc doesn’t accurately tell their audience what they’re all about and therefore doesn’t attract the right people.
If your ideal clients aren’t reaching out to you or even finding you, your brand might be unauthentic and unaligned.
